Essential Requirement: Full driving licence
Qualification: Degree in relevant subject area (for example, Childcare, NPQICL, Management, Health, Social Care, Childcare, Education or Youth and Community Work) OR CQSW/DipSW/CSS and experience of working with children, young people and families
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Early Help function of the Integrated Front Door service to lead and coordinate the Early Help Access Point.
The role will help to strengthen and embed the Early Help processes across the partnership, establishing effective working relationships between partners and working as part of an integrated team to provide appropriate responses to referrals.
The Early Help Access Point will be located alongside the Multi Agency Screening and Safeguarding Service and be a central point for pathway navigation, resource allocation, advice and guidance regarding early help cases.
The Early Help Access point aims to meet the needs of Children and Young People earlier and avoid escalation and more costly interventions that impact on all partner agencies.
About You
The Early Help Access Point is located within the Integrated Front door in Bolton. All referrals into Bolton children’s services are triaged into the front door so the role of the coordinator is to lead and coordinate the Early Help function within the Integrated Front Door.
You will be passionate about supporting children, young people and their families and have a proven knowledge and experience around Early Help and supporting families at this level.
You will be confident around thresholds and professional challenge and a confident leader to the Early Help function.
