You will be joining a dynamic and forward-thinking council, as a Business Rates Support Officer, where you will become an integral part of our Business Rates team, gaining hands-on experience in the administration, management, and collection of business rates.

So, in addition to on the job training you will be supported to achieve an industry recognised qualification through the Institutes of Revenues, Ratings and Valuation (IRRV) L4 Revenues Apprenticeship qualification which opens further career progression opportunities.

Within this role you will complete the Institutes of Revenues, Ratings and Valuation (IRRV) L4 Revenues Apprenticeship qualification.
Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £21.00. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £5.25 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £21.00.
