Dress smartly (even if it’s for an outdoor job).

Make sure you arrive early, know where you are going, where the car park is and so on. 

Prepare your answers by reading through the job description and knowing what is expected of you. Think about what skills and experience you have that match the requirements of the role.

We know you will be nervous so take your time, don’t rush your answers and if you are struggling with a question, ask for it to be repeated or re-phrased.

If you don’t get the job this time, you may have been appointable but there was someone with more relevant skills and experience on the day. Listen to the feedback and don’t be afraid to re-apply to future roles.
