Music Tutor Double Bass Location The Claremont Centre, Claremont Road, Sale, M33 7DZ Salary range £27,785 - £35,259 UQT 3-6 (Pro rata £3,536 - £4,487) Working Pattern Part time Working hours 9.00-12.30 Saturday mornings during term time Interview type In person lesson observation & Teams interview About the Role This role is for a committed and inspiring teacher to deliver individual/small group double bass lessons to students aged 7-18 (school years 3-13) at the Claremont Music Centre during term time. The successful candidate must be able to teach pupils from beginner to Grade 8 / Diploma, on the double bass and they will join a fabulous, dedicated, and inspirational team who will support you and your professional development. They will be supported with resources and shadowing opportunities of other Trafford Music Service staff. The ability to teach another instrument is desirable. You will have excellent organisational and ICT skills and an ability to work efficiently to deadlines. Additional Information Pay and Working Hours This post is casual on Teachers’ Pay and Conditions on the Unqualified Teacher pay scale 3-6. The working hours/days for this post are 3.5 hours Saturday morning during term time. Candidates should be sure they can commit to teaching during term time before applying. We are committed to providing continuity for our pupils and the highest level of instrumental tutoring. Tutors are employed on Teachers’ pay and conditions and therefore have the school holidays off and all tutors are expected to fully commit to all term dates.
