Actual Salary £17,971 £19,540 plus SEN allowance

The Governors of this popular Primary and Nursery school wish to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs.

Applicants must have:

• An NVQ 2 in Teaching Assistance or an equivalent qualification.
• Have experience of working with children of primary age
• Have high expectations for all children
• Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with children, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners
• Demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English
• Work as part of an effective team
• Carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using IT
• Be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life
