Your Role
Working for Stockport Council’s School Crossing Patrol Service you will assist children and adults safely across the road at a designated location to and from school. You will promote Road Safety on behalf of Stockport Council and act as a representative of the Council. You will be required to adhere to health and safety requirements, reporting any defects at the crossing location to the School Crossing Patrol Supervisor.

About You
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a friendly approachable manner. You will have experience of working with children and the ability to assist children and adults in crossing the road. You will need to be respectful towards drivers and pedestrians and have a basic knowledge of road safety and traffic awareness. You will need to be available morning and afternoon, term time only and be able to work outdoors in all weathers.
