An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Social Care Mental Health Team for a motivated mental health social worker to become part of our team!
The role involves carrying out assessments of service user needs under the Care Act for people with mental health and social care needs, being part of the duty rota and carrying out safeguarding enquiries. We offer the opportunity for ongoing professional development and learning opportunities, including AMHP training, BIA and Practice Educator training. We offer the ASYE programme for newly qualified social workers and we provide regular and supportive supervision.
We are an inclusive and passionate team, who work closely with a variety of other agencies including health professionals, housing workers and drug and alcohol services. We are also co-located with the Blackpool Community Mental Health Team.
