The Role
The role involves assisting the Council’s Elections Manager and Deputy in managing the running of elections and electoral registration across the borough of Bolton. This involves the running of the annual electoral registration canvass and day to day administration of the electoral register. Bolton’s elections include three constituencies for Parliamentary Elections, twenty local wards and three warded parish Councils, as well as involvement in elections for the Greater Manchester combined Authority Mayor. The role requires fluency with electoral registration software and also the administration of key election process such recruitment of election staff to a number of roles, including polling station and count staff.
About You
