Salary: NJC Scale 2 £12.85 per hour

Fylde Council require a Building Cleaner, located at Lytham Institute, Clifton Road, Lytham St Annes.

Are you a practical, organised individual who takes pride in maintaining community spaces?

Lytham Institute is seeking a Building Caretaker to ensure our valued community resource remains safe, clean, and welcoming for all users.

What you'll do:

• Manage room bookings and prepare spaces for community groups
• Carry out security checks and general maintenance
• Keep the building clean, tidy, and well-maintained
• Support health and safety compliance
• Work with Trustees to keep operations running smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Good organisational and communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety practices
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
• A commitment to excellent customer service

Experience in caretaking or facilities management is desirable but not essential - practical skills and a positive attitude are what matter most.
