Adult Social Care Team Manager

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: NJC Grade H4 SCP 41-46 £52,413 - £57,881 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Team Manager to join Blackpool Adult Social Care Health Based Social Care Team. The post holder will need to have significant experience of working in Adult Social Care statutory services and be experienced in line managing Social Workers and Case Assessors.

The successful candidate will be required to have effective communication and leadership skills in order to support a large and co-located Social Care team. 

You will be required to complete professional informal and formal supervision, assessment authorisation, support complex case management, safeguarding lead actions and other managerial tasks in line with organisational procedure and policy; and actions directed by the Service Manager and Head of Service.

The post holder will be part of a supportive management group and have access to a robust induction and regular supervision.
