Contract Type: Temporary - 12 month fixed term (maternity cover) Hours: 37 per week - hybrid working Salary: NJC Grade H3 SCP 36 - 40 £47,181- £51,356 Closing Date: Sunday 28th June 23:59 We are looking to recruit, for maternity cover, an enthusiastic Solicitor to our Childcare legal team, working within an innovative Local Authority. The successful candidate will undertake a personal caseload in respect of all areas of childcare law, (including complex work relating to the provision of legal advice, drafting of complex documentation of the same and advocacy), to include advising clients verbally and in writing on legal issues in relation to childcare law. Knowledge / experience of working within a Local Authority would be of assistance but is not essential, however knowledge and experience of both public and private child care law and working as part of a team to meet the needs of the service are essential.
