Location: Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
Salary: Scale PO 13-15 £40,057 - £41,967 (from 1st April 2017) plus essential car user and professional subscription

The Council is seeking to recruit an experienced professionally qualified Estates Surveyor, ideally with commercial estates management experience, to manage the Council's estates and asset portfolio.
Fylde Council has a small property portfolio with a variety of leases and concessions in place and an ambition to be more commercial. This portfolio includes operational property as well as a tourism-focussed coastal assets and an award winning parks and gardens service offering a variety of community facilities and attractions.
The Council are seeking to recruit a professionally qualified estates surveyor who will be responsible for the management of this portfolio. Core responsibilities will include, but not be limited to rent reviews, lettings, leases, disposals, acquisitions and general property management.
Going forward, the Council intends to develop its plans to be financially self-sufficient by 2020, part of which could include property investments.
Additional line management responsibility will include overseeing a small team delivering the portfolio's maintenance and management, the Council's engineering services and capital project delivery.
An enthusiastic approach to providing a good standard of property management and customer care is essential together with a flexible approach to work and working hours.
The ideal candidate must have good organisational and communication skills and be a member of the RICS. Along with relevant experience and good ICT, communication, negotiating and project management skills.
Experience of reporting and presenting to senior management and elected members is essential.
It is desirable to have line management training and experience.
