Hours: 7.50 hours per week

Salary: NJC Grade A SCP 1 - 2 £17,842 - £18,198 per annum, pro rata

The Governors of Devonshire Primary Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Welfare Assistant to join our Lunchtime Staff Team. 

The contract will be temporary in the first instance, until 31/12/20, with a view to extending after this time.  The successful candidate will begin employment ASAP for 7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day, five days a week). 

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of people who are committed to looking after our children whilst they have their lunch.

We are looking for Welfare Assistants who can demonstrate that:

  • They have high personal and professional standards
  • They have high expectations of themselves
  • They are passionate about providing a safe and caring environment whilst the children eat their lunch
  • They enjoy working closely and cooperatively as part of a team 

If you have very high standards and expectations and can demonstrate that you are hard-working, then this may be the job for you.

Unfortunately, visits to the Academy are not permitted at this time but please peruse the website to gain an insight into our wonderful school.
