Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time only

Salary: NJC Grade E SCP12-17 £24,496 - £26,845 per annum, pro rata

Closing Date: 12th October 2023 12.00 Noon

Layton Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Level 4 Teaching Assistant to work with our Foundation Stage pupils. The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days; please be aware that the salary advertised is pro-rata.

The successful candidate will be required to support generally in class as well as working with selected individuals and groups of pupils. Previous unsuccessful applicants are asked not to apply.

The successful applicant will need to have:

  • A willingness to work towards professional standards for Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or have acquired a qualification                                                          
  • proven skills in Literacy and Numeracy
  • a love of working with Foundation Stage children
  • at least 3 years’ experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage
