Elms Bank is a secondary special school for pupils aged 11 to 19 years with a diverse range of learning disabilities including physical disabilities and autism.
A vacancy has arisen to support pupils with an Educational Health Care Plan or Statement of Special Needs either on a 1:1 basis or as part of a class. The successful candidate will be required to work within a Key Stage or department across the school.
The post is 32.5 hours per week (Monday 8.45am – 4.45pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.45am – 3.30pm) term time plus 5 professional activity days worked during periods of school closure, in accordance with service requirements.
This post is temporary until 31st August 2019 pending a review of the staffing structure.
The salary for this post is £16,178 to £17,741 per annum.
Applicants must have relevant qualifications and experience and be willing to undertake training relevant to the post. Please ensure that you meet the person specification before applying.
