Learning Management System (LMS) Development Manager
Salary – Subject to job evaluation (£25,951-£33,437)
Hours - 36.25 hours per week
Contract - Permanent role
Base - Greater Manchester fire and Rescue service Headquarters, 146 Bolton Road, Swinton, Manchester, M27 8US

You will work with the LMS project manager to introduce and develop the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) LMS.
Following the introduction of the LMS into service you will be responsible for its future development, management and administration and ensure it is intuitive, effective and operates efficiently for the organisation’s end users.
You will develop the LMS aiming for continuous improvements based on customer feedback.
You will need
· The ability to work with other people within a project environment and to meet deadlines
· Excellent technical skills and the experience of delivering successful IT based solutions
· The ability to work closely with others, but also to work on your own initiative
· A commitment to achieving excellence
· Excellent organisational skills

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) is part of the GMCA and is one of the largest FRSs in the UK with over 2,000 employees and 41 fire stations. Our purpose is to ensure that we save, protect and improve the quality of life of the people in Greater Manchester.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a LMS Development manager to join us on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for the development and management of GMCA’s LMS.
You will be working within the Operational Information Team, and working with both operational and non-operational teams across the organisation to provide an effective and efficient LMS to all stakeholders and end users.
