The devolution of Health and Social Care to Greater Manchester has provided an unprecedented opportunity to for us to significantly improve health outcomes for local people.
The GM Population Health plan has provided the platform upon which we can pursue “a radical upgrade in the health of the population” by prioritising prevention, early intervention and person / community centred approaches.
As part of this we are embarking on an ambitious and ground-breaking journey to develop and implement a world-leading approach to reducing alcohol-exposed pregnancies with an ambition of eliminating new cases of foetal alcohol spectrum disorder in Greater Manchester.
To drive forward these plans, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic, knowledgeable and passionate leader who has both clinical expertise and programme management capabilities.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the GMH&SCP Population Health Team and will also work closely with colleagues from across the GM system, particularly Pennine Acute Hospital Trust, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust, and the Local Maternity System.
