Salary: Grade 3 £18,426 to £19,171 per annum pro rata

Work Pattern: Mon, Tue, Thu 8.30 - 4pm, Wed 8.30 - 4.30 pm, Fri 8.30 - 3.30pm

DBS Check Required: Yes
Qualification(s) Required: Yes, The successful candidate will hold a TA Level 2 qualification (or equivalent), alternatively they must be able to show that they are registered to start a course in September 2019

The post holder will support teaching and learning across the school, providing general support in the management of pupils and resources, as directed by teachers and senior staff.
The successful applicant must be able to work effectively with the whole school community including pupils, parents, governors and staff.

Ashgate is a Manchester Local Authority maintained school that caters for pupils with Special Education Needs in Wythenshawe and South Manchester. Our pupils are aged 3 to 11 years and have a range of additional needs including: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism.
Our wider curriculum helps children develop skills for learning and skills for life; we aim to support the children in developing their communication and core skills whilst enjoying a wide variety of extracurricular activities. We believe in empowering our children to grow in confidence and to be as independent as possible.
