Allowance: £203-£389 Per week, Per child (rates depending on age of child/ren and experience)
Full time working hours

Salford are actively recruiting general foster carers to care for a diverse range of children and young people aged 0 – 18 who are in short term and long term fostering placements. You must be over the age of 21 and have a spare room. Foster carers need the time, availability, patience and empathy to offer a young person. We need carers who can show compassion, commitment and understanding to children and young people during difficult times.

Salford is proud of the high level of support that is offered to foster carers. We offer access to 24 hour support. You will have your own supporting social worker as well as access to a variety of support groups. We also have an excellent training package throughout your career as a foster carer. This ensures that the needs of the foster carer as well as the child or young person is met.
We particularly welcome applications from people able to care for sibling groups and/or teenagers.
