Part of the Chatsworth Multi Academy Trust, Chatsworth Futures Specialist College is a special college learners aged 19 – 25 years located in Swinton, which serves young people with severe learning difficulties and autism, who live in the area.

Due to our continuing expansion an opportunity has arisen for a high quality, deeply committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant, who is able to support learners with a broad range of special educational needs including autism and SLD.

The successful candidate will be:

• A dedicated and skilled professional with a clear learner-centred focus
• Aspirational and highly committed to improving the learning attainments and lives of learners with special educational needs including autism and SLD.
• Experience of working with leaners with special educational needs including autism and SLD, some of whom may display challenging behaviour
• A robust and resilient practitioner able to perform in a dynamic and challenging environment
