Working Hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-2:30pm, term time only

Location: Based at Turnpike Depot – Required to work in all Salford venues as and when required.

Possession of a City & Guilds 706 or NVQ2 together with a current basic hygiene certificate is essential.
About the role
This position is ideal for somebody wanted to progress in their catering career.
Citywide are committed to improving the diet of young people in Salford. This post requires you to travel within the City and Greater Manchester area on a regular basis. You would be responsible for ensuring that a quality catering service is maintained whilst covering for the absence of the Cook Supervisor.
Supervisory experience within a catering environment is essential, although you will be supported in this role by an Area Supervisor. A high standard of food presentation, hygiene, and excellent customer care skills is also essential.
Possession of NVQ 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering qualification and a current Basic Hygiene certificate is essential.
Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check – currently £38.00. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £9.50 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £38.00.
