Salary: Grade 4, £14,286 - £15,159 per annum. £10.00 - £10.62 per hour
32 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
1x position temporary until March 2022
2x positions temporary until August 2022

Willow Grove Primary School is a co-educational school catering for up to 72 pupils within Key Stages 1 and 2. Pupils have a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties and may also have associated learning difficulties. The school has a Borough wide catchment area, stretching from Atherton, Golborne, Ashton and Bryn to Standish, Shevington and Whelley.
The school is situated in Ashton in Makerfield in a pleasant residential area, set amongst large playing fields and spacious hard play areas.
The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint 3 highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to this very successful school.
The successful candidates will be required to work as needed in any year group across the school. This may include 1:1 work in any year group for an unlimited time scale. The person must be prepared to take part in training for Positive Handling and Sounds Write.
The successful candidates will need to:
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about learning and able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims, purpose and ethos of our diverse school;
Be an effective communicator with all members of the school community;
Be emotionally resilient;
Have experience of working with Primary aged children;
Be flexible in their approach, open to new ideas and a team player who is keen to contribute to our curriculum team;
Be able to physically intervene following the school’s Behaviour Policy and use of Team Teach
