The permanent postholder will initially be based at Leigh Sports Village. The Temporary post will initially be based at Landate Primary (Bryn) and Landgate Secondary (Abram.)

Salary: Grade 7, £26,405 - £29,456 per annum.

35 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

The Aspire Federation has four sites based in Hindley Green, Bryn, Abram and Leigh. Please be advised that although initially based at one specific site, the post holders may be required to work across all of the Federated Sites.

The Role

We are in an exciting position and looking to appoint dynamic, inspirational, energetic and creative Higher-Level Teaching Assistants. The successful candidates will have evidence of:

• An NVQ Level 4 Teaching Assistant/HLTA qualification or equivalent level of qualification in relevant area or showing a commitment of working towards (HLTA qualification must be gained within 12 months of starting).
• Flexibility, resilience and creativity.
• Building positive relationships with staff, parents and other professionals.
• Outstanding classroom practice, being able to plan and deliver structured activities that interest and motivate learners, advancing their learning.
• Candidates must be willing to work across all phases of school and college.
