Salary: Grade 3, £12,328 - £12,719 per annum. £12.85 - £13.26 per hour

22 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Temporary until August 2026 Subject to SEN funding

The Governors of St Paul’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed level 2 teaching assistant (temporary subject to SEN funding)

The successful candidate will:

• Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
• Be passionate about the learning and development of young children.
• Have experience of working in a primary school setting.

Have a clear understanding of effective practice in working with children with difficulties in:

• Communication and interaction, Social and emotional wellbeing, Concentration skills and
• Sensory sensitivities.
• Be a committed team player, working in partnership with the Class Teacher, SENCO, other outside agencies.
• Ability to work on their own initiative.
• Be flexible to the child and class teacher needs.
• Have a caring nature.
