Contract Hours: 37 Hours 

 

Salary: NJC Scale 6 SCP 18 - 22 £31,537 - £33,699

 

Contract Type: Temporary for 18 months

The Housing Team at Fylde are looking to recruit a Moving On Tenancy Services Officer to provide support to applicants to move on from temporary accommodation by providing comprehensive homelessness and housing advice under Relief or Main Housing under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.  This role will also manage a case load of applicants with Refugee Status who approach the Local Authority as homeless. 

 

The Moving On Service at Fylde is about supporting customers who require a flexible, open ended package of support, advice, information to assist them into settled accommodation.  You will be expected make decisions under homeless legislation and work on your own initiative. You need to be a strong team player and contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the wider housing team.

 

You will be expected to provide support for applicants with:

·       Repeat homelessness/failed tenancies

·       History of domestic abuse

·       Diagnosed mental ill health

·       Chronic health conditions

·       Involvement with the criminal justice system

·       Substance Misuse

·       Leaving supported accommodation
