Salary: Grade D Scale Point 6-11(£25,989-£28,142) pro rata plus SNA allowance (£1,539 pro rata) Actual Salary £19,547 - £21,167 per annum + SNA allowance £1,157

Start date: January 2026

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, committed individual to support the learning and development of children within our school. We are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who has experience working one-to-one with children with hearing impairments, or who is willing to undertake the necessary training to develop these skills.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Provide one-to-one support;
• Have GSCE English and Mathematics C or above;
• Contribute to children’s development and safeguarding;
• Have an NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent in Teaching Assistant or supporting teaching and learning in schools;
• Is patient, empathetic and passionate about supporting children's learning;
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Is reliable, flexible and eager to learn;
• (Desirable) Has experience working with children with hearing impairments.
