Contract: Permanent Hours: 35.00 hours per week (Term Time only) Salary: NJC Grade E SCP12-17 £28,598 - £31,022 per annum, pro rata Closing Date: 9th December 2025 (8.00am) Stanley Primary School is looking to appoint a committed, hard-working Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm. The successful candidate will complement teachers’ delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, students and school policies and strategies. The successful candidate will provide support for students, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes, and to encourage students to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life. They will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. They will also supervise whole classes for cover purposes & short term absence of teachers.
