Cleaning Operative Salary: Grade 1 - £24,413 Pro-Rata Hours: 17.50hrs per week Contract: Permanent Location: Offerton Fire Station and Marple Fire Station Closing date: Sunday 5th April 2026 Interview dates: TBC Role Profile Your role You will be working in a busy environment where delivery and results really matter. You will provide a high-quality cleaning service adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH Regulations. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate professionalism, initiative and a customer focused approach providing cleaning support to ensure that all areas are cleaned, sanitised and maintained to a high standard. Cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided if necessary. About you The successful candidate must have good customer and interpersonal skills, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the wider team(s). You will be reliable, responsible and have the ability to work independently whilst being part of an effective cleaning team and demonstrate a passion for working within a cleaning environment.
