Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 per week Salary: NJC Grade H3 SCP 36-40 £47,181 - £51,356 per annum Closing Date: Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 23:59 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time deputy team manager post in the Adult Social Care Mental Health Team based at The Gateway at Blackpool Football stadium. We are a busy, co-located team with our health colleagues and work in partnership with a variety of agencies to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support. The deputy team manager will be responsible for supervising mental health social workers including Approved Mental Health Professionals and will support the team manager with the day to day running of the team. AMHP qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training is required The successful applicant will have strong leadership skills with good communication and an ability to lead by example. You will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and be responsive to the needs of the service. Experience of performance management and/or compliance/audit would be an advantage.
