Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32.5 per week

Grade: Grade 4 point 12-17

Start: Required for: Monday 13th April 2026

The governors wish to appoint a dedicated and hard-working Teaching Assistant at Corpus Christi RC Primary School initially to work in EYFS.

The successful candidate will:

• Support the class teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
• Have high expectations for all children and be committed to nurturing their development, independence and well-being.
• Always demonstrate professionalism and work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Be enthusiastic, positive, inspirational and self-motivated, with a caring and child-centred approach.
• Have a sound understanding of child development.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Have previous experience working within a primary school.
