Salary: £30,667 FTE (actual salary £23,000 per annum, 39 weeks term-time only)

Hours: Full-time (39 weeks, term-time only)

Contract: Permanent

Aims of the post:

  • To support learners with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by planning, preparing and delivering structured learning and social-communication activities under and agreed system of supervision.
  • To use specilist knowledge and strategies to reduce barriers to engagement, anxiety, sensory overload, and transitions that impact autistic learners.
  • To provide one-to-one and group support to young people with ASD, including mentoring, behaviour regulation and emotional based school avoidance (EBSA) intervention.
