The Governors and Headteacher at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational SENDCo/Inclusion Lead. St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School is a nurturing and welcoming school where Christ is at the centre of everything we do. The governors of this successful school invite applications from highly motivated and organised individuals with energy and vision to join this enthusiastic and supportive team

The SENDCo and Inclusion Lead will be a core member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will contribute to whole-school strategic development. The postholder will also hold, or be willing to train for, the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).

We are looking for someone who:

Is an outstanding practitioner, committed to inclusive learning and with a child-centred vision of education
Can lead and work as part of a team and build positive relationships with families and external agencies
Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Has high expectations for all children
