The Headteacher and Governors of Pikes Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed class teacher to join our skilled and dedicated teaching team from April 2026. We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is driven to raising achievement and promoting high expectations of our pupils.

Successful applicants will be able to:

• Engage and inspire pupils and set high expectations
• Demonstrate consistently strong practice and impact in either KS1 or KS2 teaching
• Show excitement for our curriculum through innovative teaching and working as part of an effective team
• Model strong classroom management and consistently high expectations for all pupils
• Demonstrate their commitment to the development of their practice through their response to coaching and mentoring
• Evidence commitment to professional development
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to the changing needs of the school
