Teaching Assistant Level 2

32.50 hours per week term time plus 5 days,

temporary contract until 21st July 2027


Crompton Primary School is a very successful, friendly and popular community school. The Governing Body wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work flexibly across the school, supporting children in a range of contexts including whole-class teaching, small-group activities and 1:1 intervention. You will help to promote positive behaviour, engagement and wellbeing, while building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.

  • The role will involve working with parents and carers and assisting children in class, in small groups and in 1-1 situations.
