Contract Type: Fixed Term We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teacher of Art to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) This is a fixed term, full time role lasting for 12 months. This role attracts a salary of Teachers Main/Upper pay scale. This post has a proposed start date of September 2026, until August 2027. The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. The post holder will meet the Professional Standards for Teachers appropriate to their career stage and exercise professional judgement in carrying out their duties collaboratively. The post holder is accountable to the Curriculum Leader, Senior Leader, and ultimately the Headteacher. Key responsibilities: We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate who can consistently deliver outstanding lessons. The ideal candidate will have thorough subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments, good communication skills, and be able to plan and and develop appropriate learning activities. We would also like candidates to have successful teaching experience in the relevant phase. Experience teaching Photography is highly desirable.
