Strategic Lead Children's Services & Health Rochdale Borough Council / Health & Care Integration Integrated Commissioning SM3 | Fixed-Term 2 years | Fulltime The post holder will take a lead role in the delivery of the integrated commissioning work programme for Children’s services across Health and care for the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale locality of the Greater Manchester ICB and also for Rochdale Local Authority. The post holder will design and implement a range of service which support the health and care of children and young people at a local and neighbourhood level, with a particular focus on children who require additional support (Cared for Children, Children with Disabilities and Additional Needs and those with Long Term Health Conditions). They will shape services meet the needs of children in Rochdale and make a real difference to our residents. Responsibilities will include: The role will include working with partner organisations across the Heywood Middleton and Rochdale locality system and also with partners across the GMCA and NHS GM .The role will include redesigning and improving service delivery , leading cultural change and supporting implementation of work across the locality, The successful candidate will join a small team which supports provision of strategic and operational leadership for Children’s services. The post is within an integrated team in the locality with opportunities to work with Adult and Children's' social care, Community, Acute and Mental Health providers, the voluntary sector and the wider local care organisation partners. There is also the requirement to support the development of strategies and operational plans that enable the locality to engage with system partners We require a dynamic leader who can navigate complexity, manage change in challenging financial times, and deliver innovative solutions that improve lives.
