Contract Type: Permanent We currently have an exciting opportunity for Assistant Curriculum Leader of Maths to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) This is a permanent, full time role starting September 2026. Teaching terms MPS-UPS, this role also attracts a TLR 2.3/2c with a value of £8,611. Main purpose of the job: This is a middle management post. In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be for supporting the Curriculum Leader in raising the standards of teaching, learning and student achievement in the subject area for all students. The post holder will also deputise for the Curriculum Leader when necessary and will take responsibility for areas of departmental work as agreed with the Curriculum Leader and Senior Leader. We’re looking for: A qualified and experienced Teacher eligible to work in the UK ready to take on additional responsibility and drive improvements across the curriculum. You will need to be an excellent classroom practitioner with successful experience in the 11-16 phase consistently delivering Good/Outstanding lessons. You will also need to demonstrate thorough Maths subject knowledge and an understanding of current curriculum developments. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
