Salary: Grade 9 £47,181 to £51,356 per annum

 

As School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of finance, HR administration, premises coordination and compliance systems.

You will oversee administrative processes and ensure that operational systems run efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the school’s budget in collaboration with the Headteacher
  • Monitoring expenditure and producing regular financial reports
  • Overseeing purchase orders, invoicing and supplier management
  • Supporting payroll processes and staff HR administration
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies
  • Coordinating administrative staff and office procedures
  • Managing contracts and service-level agreements

You will work closely with governors, external auditors and local authority representatives to ensure transparency and accountability in financial management.
