Salary: School Support Scale 34 38 (£45,091 - £49,282) Actual range is £40,957 - £44,767

Contract: Full-time, Permanent, TTO + 2 weeks

Kingsway Park High School is seeking an exceptional Pastoral Director to play a pivotal leadership role in shaping behaviour, inclusion and student wellbeing across our vibrant and diverse 1116 school.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a strategic and highly influential leadership position within our pastoral structure. Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher for Pastoral, you will:

• Lead and line manage Heads of Year and members of the Pastoral Team
• Drive a strong Behaviour for Learning culture across the school
• Lead on behaviour systems including suspensions, reintegration, report cards, Reset Room and intervention strategies
• Monitor and analyse behaviour, attendance and safeguarding data to identify trends and implement impactful strategies
• Work closely with the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion) and Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour & Attitudes) to deliver an outstanding pastoral vision
• Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs to successfully follow ‘The Kingsway’
• Build strong partnerships with families and external agencies to secure positive outcomes

This role requires resilience, strategic thinking and the ability to balance high expectations with care and compassion.
