Care Supervisor

Grade: G; scp 23 £24,429 to scp 27 £27,115 plus extra 7% allowance for out of hours working.
Contract: Permanent 26.25hrs per week.
Role specifics: Care Certificate or other relevant NVQ/QCF qualifications. Must be at least 18yrs of age.

The Role
Are you an experienced carer looking for progression? We are looking for a Care Supervisor to join the team at Laburnum Lodge.
Please see job description and person specification for details of the key duties.
You will be responsible for the management of a team and will be the lead individual in the absence of the manager.
You will work closely with NHS and Local Authority teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
You’ll support residents needing rehabilitation or assessment, helping them regain independence or transition to long-term care.

Shifts follow a set rolling rota with fixed shift lengths: 7:30-3 and 2:30-10. Long shifts are not available.

About You
You must be experienced in providing care in a nursing or residential home.
You should be friendly, an effective team player, and be willing to support, manage and direct the team to deliver person-centred care.
You should have the ability to support staff members with supervisions and direct observations or be willing to learn.
You must have some care qualifications and be willing to complete more training.
You should be able to use a computer as you will be expected to use and monitor the computer-based information systems.
You must have an understanding of CQC regulated activities.
