Contract Type: Permanent Closing Date: Wednesday 25th March 2026 at 23:59 An exciting opportunity has emerged to join a growing Personal Health Budget Team. This role, based within Blackpool Council, involves supporting clients across the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board. Blackpool Council is expanding its team to assist NHS patients throughout the Lancashire and South Cumbria region. As a Personal Health Budget Officer, you will work with both adults and children who receive NHS funding for their care and support needs. Your responsibilities will include managing direct payment and third party personal health budgets, setting budgets, providing recruitment support, offering employment advice, conducting financial audits, supporting people to complete a care and support plan and arranging clinical training. You will visit patients in their homes or other settings, working with them to achieve the best possible outcomes. The right candidate(s) will have proven communication skills with a range of stakeholders and strong financial analytical skills. This role will support hybrid working, part week located in a Council or NHS office within the Lancashire and South Cumbria region and part from home.
