Contract Type: Permanent We currently have an exciting opportunity for Curriculum Leader of English to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) This is a permanent full time position on Teaching terms MPS-UPS plus TLR 1.3 allowance of £14,864, starting September 2026. We’re looking for: A qualified and experienced Teacher eligible to work in the UK ready to take on additional responsibility and drive improvements across the curriculum. You will need to be an excellent classroom practitioner consistently delivering outstanding lessons. You will also need to demonstrate thorough English subject knowledge and an understanding of current curriculum developments. Main purpose of the job: This is a middle management post. In addition to those professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, the post holder’s key responsibilities will be to provide professional leadership and management and develop excellence in pedagogy to ensure accelerated progress for all students in your subject area.
