We are seeking an ambitious, energetic, and proactive Trainee Leisure Manager to join our  team. This role is designed for someone looking to start or accelerate their career in leisure management. Working alongside experienced Duty Managers, you will learn to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer care, whilst being give the opportunity through leading shifts to put these theories into practice. 
 
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Learn)
  • Operational Management: Take shift responsibility for opening/closing the centre and ensuring all facilities (pool, gym, courts) are prepared for public use.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety legislation, including daily checks and compliance with Normal Operating Procedures (NOP) and Emergency Action Plans (EAP).
  • Staff Leadership: Act as shift leader for pool staff and leisure assistants, providing support, guidance, and motivation.
  • Customer Experience: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, providing exceptional service to increase retention. 
 
Requirements (What We Are Looking For)
  • A passion for the fitness and leisure industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations or emergencies.
  • Willingness to learn and complete further training qualifications.
