Salford Museum and Art Gallery are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, creative Learning Facilitator able to lead on a variety of historical learning/creative activities with schools, families and community groups. This will include costumed facilitation, guided tours, mindfulness activities, educational workshops and craft sessions. It will also include setting up tables and materials for activities and clearing away. The post will also work as part of the Front of House team to cover gallery invigilation and maintain the public areas. On rare occasions you may be required to work in the museum shop and cover reception.

The role will be based at Salford Museum and Art Gallery, but you may be occasionally required to work at Ordsall Hall.

The successful candidate will have a good general education, 2 years experience in a customer focussed or commercial environment and experience of working with children in either formal or informal education. You will be IT literate and be able to keep accurate records. You will be an excellent communicator and team player with a genuine appreciation of museums, historic houses and heritage collections.
