We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our Childrens Social Care administration team. The admin in the service support the Safeguarding Team (Safeguarding); The Safeguarding Social Work teams work directly with children in need of help and protection and those children subject to care proceedings and adoption plans. There are three safeguarding teams based together who work closely with local schools, Start Well Children's Centres, early start teams, health visitors and other practitioners involved in working with the same children.
The admin supporting the teams are integral to ensuring workers are supported and the post covers a number of statutory duties including, but not limited to providing admin support for the Social Workers in the Team, arranging meetings, completing statutory checks as required, sending letters and assessments to professionals and families, retrieving and collating documents from various sources, uploading documents to LCS (Liquid Logic data base), manning the inbox and triaging emails for action by the team, updating trackers for teams, and covering Reception for Childrens Social Care teams based at Castle Hill.
You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and have good systems skills. You will have experience using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well presented information. You will also possess strong literacy skills to ensure information is correctly collated and processed, and you will be proficient in using applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
