Are you a creative communicator who loves digital marketing and social media? Want to make a real difference by helping us attract and keep brilliant people in local government? Then we’d love to meet you!

We’re on a mission to become an employer of choice - and you’ll play a key role in getting us there. Working with our Recruitment, Retention & Wellbeing Manager, Work Experience Coordinator and Communications Team, you’ll lead the Brand & Marketing strand of our “Succeed at Rochdale” strategy, bringing our employer brand to life across digital platforms.

This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll use your creativity and digital knowhow to deliver engaging recruitment campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and more, helping us tell our story, showcase our culture and reach a broader, more diverse audience.

You will:

  • Partner with services to plan campaigns, create content and improve the recruitment journey
  • Produce eyecatching graphics, posters, carousels and simple visuals using Canva or Adobe Express
  • Find new ways to reach passive candidates and promote hard-to-fill roles
  • Track performance and share meaningful metrics that show your impact
  • Keep our online recruitment presence fresh, inclusive and inspiring across our website, Greater.Jobs and internal platforms
