About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Business Manager to join our specialist team.

This is a key operational leadership role within Elysium, responsible for ensuring that business functions including HR, administration, compliance, finance and premises are well organised, effective and support the smooth running of the provision.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and coordinate business and operational systems across the organisation

• Oversee in-house HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and employee relations

• Ensure safer recruitment administration, workforce compliance and accurate record keeping

• Support effective financial administration, resource management and procurement

• Maintain systems that support compliance, organisation and inspection readiness

• Work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to support the day-to-day running of the provision

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced in business, operations, office management or administrative leadership

• Confident managing HR processes, systems and compliance requirements

• Highly organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities

• Able to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality and discretion

• Calm, solution-focused and able to respond effectively to operational challenges

• Committed to working within a relational, values-driven environment

Experience within education, alternative provision or SEND settings is desirable but not essential.
