About the role Environmental Health Officer Grade 12 | 37 hours per week (flexitime & agile working) | Based at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury This is an exciting new opportunity to embed and introduce the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 across our borough and help shape how we deliver fair, safe and decent homes in the private rented sector. About the role As part of the Public Protection Service PRS Enforcement Team, you’ll provide professional environmental health expertise and deliver proportionate, effective enforcement across the private rented sector. You will: You’ll report to the Unit Manager, PRS Enforcement Team, and may supervise Enforcement Officers, students and apprentices, helping to build capacity as the new legislation beds in. About you We’re looking for a proactive practitioner who is motivated by making homes safer and fairer.
