Your role:
You will provide effective and efficient technical and administration support services to the Statutory Compliance Gas and Legionella Team.
Engage, collaborate and communicate with all sections of the Statutory Compliance Team including, Gas, Legionella, Asbestos, Engineering Inspections and Electrical Testing.
You will be competent in IT and have the experience of working with data gathering, analysis and evaluation, with the ability to organise your findings in a clear and concise manner. The role involves assisting the Compliance Team, and maintaining records through systems like HMIS, C365 & NEC.
Working with The Statutory Compliance team and wider housing property functions. Supported by Statutory Compliance Inspection Manager Gas and Legionella and everyone in the Property & Assets Department. Our Client base are Wigan staff working within the housing functions, corporate buildings, residents and contractors managing housing assets.

About you:

You will be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a wider team.

You will be the first point of contact for queries from Contractors, Tenants, Public and the wider Council.

You will offer support and, where possible, resolve issues pertaining to statutory compliance queries. You will answer enquiry phone lines for the service, including senior management. You will provide financial support for various Compliance Contracts, by recording, checking and verifying accounts and invoices, then submitting for payment when corrected. You will liaise with Contractors, service providers and maintenance consultants to resolve repairs and maintenance issues.

You will work with a variety of IT packages, contractor portals and data bases to collate, extract and input data and provide accurate reports to the Statutory Compliance Manager Gas and Legionella

You will have experience of managing records through software database and related data reporting systems. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, HMIS, NEC, C365 and property asset management software would be beneficial to hit the ground running.

The team delivers robust monitoring, inspection and maintenance programmes to manage gas safety, prevent Legionella risks and maintain full statutory compliance. Working closely with contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders, the team ensures all systems are safe, efficient and well-documented.
