Christ the King RC Primary School, with 389 pupils on roll including Nursery, is seeking to appoint a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
  • Cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and emptying bins.
  • Supporting the school’s commitment to providing a safe, attractive and welcoming environment for children, staff and visitors.
  • Following health and safety procedures and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of daily cleaning operations.
  • Being flexible to undertake additional cleaning duties as required during term time.
  • Participating in relevant training, including whole-school policy updates, which may occasionally occur outside contracted hours.
